Description:

DelRey Productions LLC. D.B.A. Chicago LSD Radio is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Content Manager Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital media management, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy within the entertainment industry. As a Content Manager Intern, you will play a vital role in curating and producing engaging content for our platforms, contributing to our mission of promoting queer music artists and entertainers, breaking down stigmas and barriers, and advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights.

Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and curating content for our website, social media channels, and other digital platforms, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, videos, graphics, and multimedia features.
Collaborate with our team to develop content strategies, themes, and campaigns that align with our mission and core values.
Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Research and stay informed about current trends, topics, and issues relevant to the LGBTQIA+ community and the entertainment industry.
Support the planning and execution of virtual events, interviews, and promotional activities, helping to generate excitement and engagement among our audience.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as content scheduling, data entry, and analytics reporting.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Community service hours and college credit will be provided where applicable.

  • Requirements:

    • Passion for LGBTQIA+ rights and representation in the entertainment industry, with a strong commitment to our organization's mission and values.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

    • Creativity and ability to think outside the box, generating fresh ideas and content concepts.

    • Proficiency in digital media tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

    • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.

    • Availability to commit 5-10 hours per week to the internship, with flexibility to attend occasional virtual meetings and events outside regular hours.
